The Summit County Assessor’s Office is seeking a qualified candidate to perform complex technical and clerical work of a highly specialized nature requiring the application of knowledge related to the Assessor’s Office. This position provides analyses and development of policies and procedures in conjunction with the implementation, deployment and maintenance of custom and third-party applications within the Assessor’s Office.  The candidate will work with administrative, appraisal and management staff to develop workflow procedures and policies that correspond with new data processing systems being implemented. They will support staff in the 2023 reappraisal, as well as play a major role in the transition to new the Tyler Eagle software package. The Systems Coordinator will also assist office personnel in the successful use of these new technologies within their job functions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must understand appraisal and administrative workflow processes within the Assessor’s Office, be accurate, organized, analytical, and exceptionally detail oriented. Strong math skills, professional and effective interpersonal communication skills, the ability to multi-task, work independently, and execute judgment appropriately are required. Candidate must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License at the time of appointment and throughout employment.
