Job Purpose
The lecturer will coordinate all Business Law offerings in the department and collaborate with other campus units on related programs and courses.

Essential Functions
Instruction in the undergraduate business, MBA, and Master of Accountancy programs. Participation in relevant professional and university service activities. Service on Departmental, College, and University committees. Engagement with students and student organizations. Development and coordination of Business Law course offerings in the Department. Availability to teach primarily on campus with some online teaching requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctorate. Availability to teach primarily on campus with some online teaching requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching business law or related courses in a college or professional training environment, with excellent teaching evaluations a plus. Current licensure to practice law in Tennessee. Experience with essential topics of business law, including business formation, contracts, and torts, Uniform Commercial Code, product liability, and Tennessee codes.
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience.
