Title: Special Education Aide (5.5 hrs per day) – West Elementary

The School District of Milton is seeking an energetic individual for a Special Education Aide position at West Elementary. This position will start as soon as possible and will consist of 5.5 hours per day starting at 8:15 am to 2:15 pm (27.50 hrs per week). A competitive wage is offered. Please note, due to student need, this position has the potential for the daily hours to increase beyond 5.5 hours.
A starting wage of $16.40 per hour is offered for special education aides, with additional compensation available for candidates with special education experience in a public-school setting.
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will be able to assist teachers and students with disabilities, including academic, social, emotional and behavior support, transporting, clerical duties as well as potential personal care. Candidates should be organized, have strong communication skills, have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, lift 80 lbs. pounds, and be able to collaboratively work with others.
