Responsibilities within your new role
Reporting directly to the Reception Manager, you will take on an integral role within the hotel as Hotel Receptionist, greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly manner. As Hotel Receptionist, you will help our guests create lasting memories as soon as they arrive, showing them to their room, helping them plan their stay as well as suggesting activities for the broad clientele.
Being knowledgeable about the hotel facilities and what’s on offer in the surrounding areas will be a speciality of yours, as well as being proficient in organising lunch and dinner reservations, spa bookings and assisting with general enquiries.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have previous experience as a Receptionist and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate for this role will also be fully IT literate and have great communication skills, on a verbal and written level. You will be able to cope in a fast-paced and busy work environment and be able to maintain a high level of professionalism.
As an individual you should have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Candidates should have strong communication skills, speak English to a high standard and have great, personal presentation.
