The purpose of this postdoctoral position is to run the project “LIGERLabs: Educational Modules for (Anti-)Reverse Engineering” that was recently funded by NSF under the SaTC/EDU program. This work builds lectures, tools, and exercises to improve students’ abilities in Reverse Engineering and Anti-Reverse Engineering. The goal is threefold: to give students the mental tools necessary to understand the low-level nature of many of the security issues seen today, to increase student proficiency in dissecting and analyzing different forms of executable code, and to ensure students are familiar with techniques for protecting against such attacks.

This is a year to year appointment up to 2nd year contingent upon funding and performance.
