REMOTE ROLE!!! 

SALARY: $160,000-$180,000

ROLE: PIPELINE DEVELOPER / TECHNICAL DIRECTOR 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Aquent is excited to partner with a leading brand and impact group who brings the best design, graphics, technology, production, and process optimization to the field! Our client is looking for a talented Pipeline Developer / Technical Director who will play a key role in building and maintaining the studio’s global CGI production pipeline. The development team is responsible for everything from building art and production tools, to backend software integration, to site and render automation.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results:

Work alongside the Pipeline team to develop according to team standards

Build database automation across multiple locations

Monitor integration and scripts on the global render resources

Work directly with the production team to troubleshoot and solve issues such as repairing corrupt configuration files, password security, etc.

Write and maintain clear documentation for tools/scripts including video tutorials

Provide technical UI for design and development

Must be familiar with system software and hardware.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Game Development, or a similar program preferred

Proficient in Python 2.x/3.x, or a similar language

Familiarity with CGI production tools such as Maya, Unreal Engine, Houdini, Nuke a plus

Understanding CGI processes and production workflow

Experience with a digital asset management systems like Shotgun or Ftrack is a plus

Experience using Git, or another version control system

Competency Requirements:

Ability to work collaboratively with a team of developers on the same product

Ability to complete work accurately in a time-sensitive environment
