The Grelet Lab at the University of South Alabama is seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral candidate with a strong background in tumor biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques to join our team focused on understanding nerve-cancer crosstalk during cancer innervation. The candidate will work in the cutting-edge Mitchell Cancer Institute, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies for cell imaging, cytometry, automated high-throughput drug screenings, genomics, proteomics, and pathology analyses.

The postdoctoral research aims to study the communication channels established at the nerve cancer interface during cancer innervation and how they can be targeted therapeutically. The successful candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary environment at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine and benefit from the outstanding shared facilities at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, allowing researchers to stay at the forefront of their field.
