Dynetics, a Leidos company, is seeking a highly proficient Product Owner/Systems Engineer to join our diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Dynetics is seeking qualified candidates to join the Modeling and Simulations Contract Framework and Tools (MASC-F) program. The MASC-F program will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in performing Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and its intended uses.

The successful candidate will utilize a variety of engineering skills to quickly address issues during integration and checkout events across multiple software products. Opportunities exist to work a variety of issues from software defects, misconfigurations, and network/hardware anomalies while coordinating with stakeholders and MDA customer.

You will work with Product Management to understand stakeholder (customer) requirements

Assists agile team in use of good SE practices authoring stories as well as assisting the team in implementing capabilities by providing clarification on features and enablers.

Manages team relevant interfaces to communicate updates to interfaces to the teams

CUSTOMERS / GROWTH / FINANCIALS:

Responsible for accepting stories and validating they meet definition of done decomposes higher level requirements, epics and capabilities into smaller manageable features.

Authors features and enablers with good Systems Engineering (SE) practices

Perform requirements traceability between OSS, SRS (Features) and Acceptance Tests.

In this role you will create SE artifacts as required to assist product team’s implementation of capabilities.

Update MASC-F system model with SE artifacts and other designs to assist implementation

Update Interface Control Documents (ICD), schemas and other documentation for interfaces relevant to the team

Assist Integration and Test (I&T) Product Team members in authoring, executing, Acceptance Tests

As well as assist with Formal Qualification Test (FQT) tests to assure that the right requirements are verified properly.

You will be tasked with performing technical planning, system integration, validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses MASC-F products.

Perform analyses at all levels of the total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer/product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Perform capability analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into HW/SW use cases and capability descriptions

Assist in development of requirements, ICDs and artifacts required to provide sufficient “what” for Product Teams

Assist in development and maintenance of the SEMP, SE Artifacts, and Documentation

Basic Qualifications

Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or the equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.

PhD or JD. 4 years professional experience required, considered career, or journey level.

 

 

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
