BHI Energy has an immediate opportunity for a Lead Electrical Superintendent in South Florida. This is a longer term project projected to last through 2023.

The Role:

The Electrical Project Superintendent is responsible for supervising First Line Supervisors involved in the preparation, issuance, revision, follow-up, expediting and monitoring of field installation work and updating schedule status based on field production results. Responsible and accountable to ensure field work is being performed in a safe, event free manner with first time quality that meets schedule and manpower productivity goals.

The Essentials:

*· In Continual communication of safety and human performance expectations to first line supervisors and craft along with the coaching and counseling needed to produce suitable results using independent judgment and exercising discretion. Accept personal responsibility and accountability for the results obtained.
*· Direct First Line Supervisors and craft employees to meet Safety and Human Performance Goals, QA/QC requirements, Cost, Schedule, and Work Package requirements.
*· Monitor scope, scope changes, manpower staffing goals, and schedules to ensure objectives are met.
*· Walk down of planned and ongoing work to assess status and resolve problems.
*· Serve as a role model and actively foster First Line Supervision and Craft employee awareness of and commitment to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
*· Organize and maintain all site field activities.
*· Manage and supervise all craft labor and craft supervision.
*· Assure necessary resources to meet assigned project requirements.
*· Properly address employee concerns.
*· Spends a considerable amount of time in the field observing work activities.
*· Perform constructability reviews and estimates.
*· Identify barriers to success and aggressively pursues permanent changes to increase productivity.
*· Exercises command and control of first-time evolutions.
*· Maintain high awareness of first-time evolutions, elevated risk, and significant work activities.
*· Assure that all costs are accurately corrected against the proper accounts.
*· Provides control cost of manpower, materials, and equipment.
*· Responsible for compliance and implementation of Safety and Human Performance Program as well as the Quality Program.
*· Develop project work plans and schedules.
*· Responsible for developing employee skills/talents to support growth goals.
*· Actively participate in periodic or annual employee reviews.
*· Interface with Project Controls, Field Engineers, Safety Engineer, QA Manager, Administrative Organization, Client, Vendors, and Sub Contractors.
*· Review all Corrective Action Program Condition Reports originated by subordinates for level 2 and 3 injuries, illness, or near misses during implementation of the safety program and before final initiations or dispositions are submitted for input.
*· Assure that only qualified and properly trained employees are assigned to tasks.
*· Participate in the development and implementation of solutions to productivity issues.
*· Identify best practices and repetitive tasks and implement improvements.
*· Interface with station Planning, Scheduling, and Work Control organizations.
*· Ensure critical attributes are added to the work packages.
