Summary:

The HR Assistant will cheerfully welcome and assist facility visitors, coordinate office operations while providing administrative and clerical support to various functions across the organization.  Contributes to the organizational goal of being the “Employer of Choice” by implementing practices that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:           

Cheerfully welcoming and assisting facility visitors.

Maintain a welcoming lobby and conference room environments providing a positive experience for both employees and visitors.

Operate autonomously in numerous administrative systems support various HR and other administrative processes.

Providing general administrative support for the business such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, power point presentations, expense reports, travel reservations.

Exercise discretion with sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes, planning and protecting the security of information, data and files.

Handling issues and inquires as part of the Human Resources team, exercising discretion and independent judgment

Interacting with and supplying information to employees, department heads, and job applicants.

Arrange catering for events and meetings in-house or other functions as needed as well as maintain appropriate stocking levels of needed snacks, drinks, and supplies. 

Provide administration of time and attendance program

Responsible for the collection, verification, data entry, and auditing of records for numerous programs from different functional areas of the business.

Responsible for the collection, verification, data entry, and auditing of HRIS records.

Provide administrative support with recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.

Support employee activities team with event planning and execution

Assist with internal employee communication aligning to brand standards   

Conform with the organizations ISO 9001 & 14001 requirements

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred 5 years of administrative experience and bachelors degree.  Associates Degree and 3 years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
