This is an exciting new role, created to support the Council’s commitment to animating our greenspaces, and providing learning opportunities for people to gain skills using natural resources.
As part of the Sport and Active Life team and wider Environment, Leisure and Green Infrastructure service area, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of forest craft workshops across a range of locations within Stockton-on-Tees.
The role will include planning, preparing and delivering safe workshops and entry level forest education. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional forest craft skills and will be able to effectively communicate these skills to workshop participants.
We are looking for a hardworking individual who is passionate and shows commitment to the natural environment, in particular trees and woodlands. Additionally, we are looking for an individual who is able to inspire others, is organised, professional, and able to create a positive, and supportive learning environment.
