Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION: To provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients in a primary medical care ambulatory clinic or telehealth setting.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must be able to provide care for all age ranges.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Completion of U.S.G.M.E. approved Residency program. Board certification preferred; board eligible if new residency graduate. Obtain and possess current Alaska medical licensure and DEA certification, obtain and maintain membership in applicable specialty board, meet minimum CME requirements as per licensing board on a yearly basis, maintain CPR/BLS certification, and obtain and maintain current staff privileges at local hospitals as determined by the Chief Medical Officer.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual preferred.
OTHER: Travel within Anchorage to local hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities as required to manage patient care, participate on committees and/or represent clinical interests of ANHC.
