The preferred hiring range for this position is between $72,072.00 – $90,688.00 Annually. Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. This is a full-time, exempt, position. The Facilities & Programs Manager (Management Specialist II – P&R) is responsible for the direct management and operations of dry land recreation facilities. Which includes but is not limited to, four (4) recreation centers, four (4) housing sites, meals program, enrichment and outdoor recreation programs, day camps and special events. Working independently, manages core Departmental business functions, support systems and operational capabilities, using strategic management techniques Performs other duties as assigned. Reports to a Deputy Director or Director of Parks & Recreation, dependent upon assignment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in park/recreation-related work, including responsible administrative/managerial experience, preferably in the recreation field.
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in recreation and park management or other pertinent related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
