We have partnered with an international law firm in their search for a talented Benefits Specialist to join their team. In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of group insurance coverage and wellness programs. Reporting directly to the Manager of Benefits & Wellness, you’ll work closely with the HR department and interact frequently with directors, managers, administrative and legal staff to provide excellent customer service to the firm’s NY, DC and foreign offices.
As the Benefits Specialist, you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, including the development and management of a comprehensive wellness program, researching, and evaluating wellness plans, managing vendor relationships, and facilitating the development of benefits communications. You’ll also develop and recommend strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of employees, evaluate the impact of wellness activities on plans, and report related savings. In addition, you’ll be responsible for benefits compliance such as government filings, ACA Form 1095C, and managing the leave administration process. You’ll act as a liaison between benefits/insurance vendors and employees/partners for our benefit programs including ensuring benefit enrollments for new hires, life event changes, HSA contribution changes, and status changes are captured and implemented in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of related work experience, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to handle and prioritize multiple assignments while working with highly confidential information.

The listed salary range serves as a guide and the salary offered within that range to the candidate selected will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
