Camp Winnebago, an overnight boys camp in Maine that emphasizes tradition, leadership and fun, would love to talk with you about being a Baker/Breakfast Chef in our kitchen (June, July and August.) JOB DESCRIPTION: At camp we serve 3 meals a day to 240 campers and staff. These meals must be delicious and plentiful and are served family style. In addition to the main course there are also salad and sandwich options available.
As the Baker and Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving breakfast and creating a fresh baked good for the day. Other kitchen staff will assist you with food preparation and serving, You will also be responsible for working with the Head of the Kitchen to accept food orders and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, the coolers and the food storage areas.
Candidates must have 3-5 years cooking experience in a fast paced kitchen
Knowledge about and experience preparing vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free and dairy free meals desired.
Compensation is $1000 a week, on-camp housing, board, weekly laundry, travel expenses and generous time off.
This is a seasonal full-time position June 8 to August 20, 2023.

Be in charge of the breakfast menu and creating one dessert/day along with other kitchen staff for a community of 240, 6 days/week. We enjoy fresh, kid friendly food. Work with the Head Chef and Director to plan menus and set a budget that makes sense for you.
Approx. 48 hours / week, $19-22 / hour dependent on experience.
Health Insurance, travel stipend, Room and Board is included. Compensationthis position is : hourly, $20/hr +
